You have the right to request permanent deletion of data HeyAI holds about you. We will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

How the process works

Send your request. Submit the request form below, or email connect@heyaitech.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Company Name]. Include your full name, work email, and company name.
We acknowledge and verify. We will respond within 24 hours and ask a verification question, such as the Azure DevOps organization URL connected to HeyAI.
Deletion begins. Once verified, deletion begins within 3 days for active systems and associated project records.
Confirmation is sent. We send written confirmation when deletion is complete, including what was deleted and when.

Permanently Deleted

Azure DevOps project data synced to HeyAI
Work items, User Stories, bugs, and test data from your project
Account credentials and login information
ADO Personal Access Token, if provided
AI-generated outputs from your project
Feedback and notes submitted during a pilot
Backup copies within 30 days of request

Retained When Legally Required

Signed pilot agreement, if applicable
Record of deletion request and confirmation for compliance audit trail
Invoice or payment records, if applicable
Anonymized aggregate statistics with no personal identifiers

Do I need to give a reason?

No. You can request deletion without providing a reason.

Can I request partial deletion?

Yes. Specify what data you want deleted in your email, and we will confirm what is possible.

Will deletion affect team access?

Deleting account and project data may revoke access for users associated with the project. Please coordinate with your team before submitting a deletion request.

Why are some records retained?

Some records may be retained for legal, contract, financial, or compliance obligations. These retained records do not contain Azure DevOps project data.
